Flights & Transportations

Google Flights

Find the best flight deals and track prices. You can set up to receive an email alert to get the best deal. Search “anywhere” to discover a destination.

Compare and book the best transportation option in Europe and North America: trains, buses, flights, ferries, rental cars, and airport transfers.

RailEurope

RailEurope sells train and bus tickets in 15,000 cities across 28 European countries. It is a useful site to know to get Eurail Passes, which usually saves you money if you want to visit more than 3 countries.

Rails in East Asia

Similarly, you can book discounted rail passes for foreign travelers in East Asia. High-speed rail is my first choice of transportation to travel between cities. They are super convenient, clean and safe!

Useful Apps

Google Maps

I love Google maps! It is the best tool that is not only useful for navigating in a foreign country but also for creating a bucket list. Whenever I read travel articles or find a new place of interest on Instagram, I save it on my Google Maps. I organize them by category, such as restaurants, coffee/tea houses, museums, etc.
